Cancellation and refunds

Your purchase is a distance-selling transaction under Israeli consumer protection law, which gives you a full right of cancellation. This page explains it plainly, with no small print.
Fourteen days to cancel
You may cancel within 14 days of making the purchase, or of receiving the transaction document, whichever is later. You do not need to give a reason and there is no form to fill in.
If your consultation is close
If your consultation is scheduled for less than 14 days after the purchase, cancellation must reach us at least two business days before the scheduled time.
Cancellation fee
When you cancel, your money is returned. The law allows us to keep a cancellation fee of 5 percent of the purchase price or ₪100, whichever is lower. On ₪2,200 the lower of the two is ₪100. We will always tell you the exact figure before the refund is made.
When the money comes back
The refund is made within 14 days of your cancellation notice, to the same payment method you used. Nothing further is required from you.
If part of the service has already been given
If some of the service has already been provided before you cancel, you pay only for the part you actually received, in proportion to the full price.
Extended right of cancellation
If you are a senior citizen, a new immigrant, or a person with a disability, your right of cancellation is four months from the date of the transaction rather than 14 days.
The test kit is a separate purchase, and this matters
What you pay ShiraMed, ₪2,200, is the consultation, the interpretation and the guidance. That is the only part you can cancel with us.
The test kit itself is a separate purchase you make directly from the laboratory in the United States, $400 plus $35 shipping. That money never passes through us at any stage. Cancelling that order, returning the kit, or getting a refund for it is governed by the laboratory's own policy and has to be arranged with them directly.
Once the kit has been ordered in your name and shipped, that money sits with the laboratory and not with us, and we cannot return it.
How to cancel
An email to shiramed.center@gmail.com or a message on WhatsApp to 050-200-5636 is entirely enough. No form, and no need to explain why.
